✅TPT stands for "Thin Ply Technology"
TPT's exclusive thin-ply technology allows them to produce carbon fiber strands even finer than a human hair, which are then mechanically wound layer by layer to create shafts with outstanding performance.
In addition to its industry-unique fully automated manufacturing process, the TPT shaft's greatest strength comes from the cutting-edge aerospace material technology of its parent company, NTPT.
NTPT is a high-tech composite materials company based in Switzerland, specializing in the development and production of top-tier carbon fiber materials.
✅Space satellites
✅The solar-powered aircraft "Solar Impulse"
✅Competition-grade technological sailing boats
✅Lightweight chassis for the F1 McLaren team
✅Lightweight bodies for skis and snowboards
✅Watch cases for the Swiss luxury watch brand Richard Mille
All use materials produced by NTPT. TPT, in turn, is NTPT's golf shaft brand.
The carbon fiber strands TPT uses to wind its shafts are lighter and finer than hair.
The carbon fiber fabric weighs only 15 grams per square meter, which is a quarter of the weight of a piece of paper of the same size.
Through such lightweight material, TPT engineers are able to design and manufacture lighter and more stable shafts.
And unlike ordinary shafts, they don't have the problem of "spine" issues.
For example, the tip of a TPT shaft is made from 60 layers of carbon fiber fabric.
In contrast, the tips of higher-end shafts from other brands in the industry have 20 layers.
A shaft woven from 60 layers will undoubtedly have superior toughness, stability, and durability compared to one made with 20 layers.
Only Swiss TPT shafts have developed a fully automatic production and manufacturing process.
Possessing excellent toughness, durability, and stability allows for every shot to be more confident and efficient.
Average distance and fairway accuracy will naturally see significant improvements.
