Fujimoto Feel

After forging, each clubhead in the FT series is reheated and left to rest for 72 hours in temperature-controlled rice ash.

Initial forging state

Stage 1|Initial Forging

The high-pressure stress and rapid cooling during the forging process cause the metal's internal microstructure (grains) to twist and deform.

72-hour rice ash heat treatment

Stage 2|Reheating Treatment

In our factory, heated clubheads are placed in containers filled with natural rice ash for 72 hours. This is a traditional technique passed down through generations of Japanese forging craftsmen.

Structure reorganization completed

Stage 3|Structural Reshaping

After a cooling process lasting three days, the metal structure inside the clubhead will be uniformly realigned, creating a unique hitting feel.

Fujimoto Gikoh

The history of Fujimoto Gikoh can be traced back to the 1960s. At that time, founder Sanenobu Fujimoto noticed that blacksmiths in Ichikawa Town were returning to forging iron clubheads, a craft that had been prohibited during the war and only revived after the war.

1960s
Founder Sanenobu Fujimoto, in his small workshop, used his blade forging techniques to repair and imitate Western clubheads, evolving into the "Hizukuri" method.
Late 1960s
Officially established "Fujimoto Golf Equipment Factory," undertaking OEM production for major brands and laying the foundation for today's business.
1980s
Sanenobu's three sons successively joined, injecting new momentum into the family business and entering a phase of expansion.
1990s to Present
In 2015, CNC technology and its own brand were introduced, and in 2017, Fujimoto Golf was founded, dedicated to restoring the annealing process and pure feel.
