Fujimoto Feel

Each FT series club head undergoes reheating after forging and is then left to rest for 72 hours in temperature-controlled rice ash.

Initial forging state

Stage 1|Initial Forging

High-pressure stress and rapid cooling during the forging process cause the microscopic structure (grain) within the metal to distort and deform.

72-hour rice ash heat treatment

Stage 2|Reheating Treatment

At our factory, heated club heads are placed in containers filled with natural rice ash for 72 hours. This is a traditional technique passed down through generations of Japanese forging craftsmen.

Structure re-formed

Stage 3|Structural Reshaping

After a cooling process lasting three days, the internal metal structure of the club head is uniformly rearranged, creating a unique hitting sensation.

Fujimoto Gikoh

The history of Fujimoto Gikoh dates back to the 1960s. At that time, founder Sanenobu Fujimoto noticed that blacksmiths in Ichikawa Town were returning to forging iron club heads, a craft that had been banned during the war and only began to revive afterward.

1960s
Founder Sanenobu Fujimoto, in his small workshop, began repairing and imitating Western iron club heads based on his knife forging techniques, which evolved into the "Hizukuri" method.
Late 1960s
"Fujimoto Golf Equipment Factory" was officially established, undertaking OEM production for major brands and laying the foundation for today's business.
1980s
Sanenobu's three sons successively joined, injecting new momentum into the family business and entering an expansion phase.
1990s to Present
In 2015, CNC technology and proprietary brands were introduced. In 2017, Fujimoto Golf was founded, dedicated to restoring the annealing process and the pure feel.
