Fujimoto Feel

Each club head in the FT series undergoes a reheating process after forging, then is left to rest for 72 hours in temperature-controlled rice straw ash.

Initial Forging State

Stage 1|Initial Forging

The high pressure stress and rapid cooling during the forging process can cause distortion and deformation of the metal's internal microstructure (grains).

72-hour Rice Straw Ash Heat Treatment

Stage 2|Reheating Treatment

In our factory, the heated club heads are placed in containers filled with natural rice straw ash for 72 hours. This is a traditional technique passed down for generations among Japanese forging artisans.

Structural Reorganization Completed

Stage 3|Structural Reshaping

After a three-day cooling process, the metal structure within the club head will uniformly rearrange, creating a unique hitting feel.

Fujimoto Gikoh

The history of Fujimoto Gikoh dates back to the 1960s. At that time, founder Mitoshi Fujimoto noticed that the blacksmiths of Ichikawa Town were once again engaged in forging iron club heads, a craft that had been prohibited during the war and had just been revived afterward.

1960s
Founder Mitoshi Fujimoto, in his small workshop, began repairing and replicating Western iron club heads based on his knife forging techniques, evolving into the "Hizukuri" method.
Late 1960s
"Fujimoto Golf Equipment Factory" was officially established, undertaking OEM production for major brands and laying the foundation for today's business.
1980s
Mitoshi's three sons joined the company, injecting new energy into the family business and entering an expansion phase.
1990s to Present
In 2015, CNC technology and proprietary brands were introduced. In 2017, Fujimoto Golf was founded, dedicated to restoring the annealing process and pure feel.
