The Fujimoto Feel

A superb clubhead that you won't want to go back from, with a soft, unique feel

SINCE 1960 Japanese Forging Brand | 100% Pure Japanese Handcrafted

Exclusive "Hiki" Forging Process Technology

"Hiki" is Fujimoto's 72-hour extremely slow annealing technology developed to achieve the optimal feel. Ordinary soft iron forging can easily lead to deformation of the metal structure during cooling, which affects the feel of impact.

Fujimoto specifically reheats the forged clubhead to 800-1200 degrees, effectively releasing internal metal stress. Through a special cooling process lasting up to 72 hours, the metal structure achieves the most superior arrangement, making the clubhead feel exquisitely smooth.

The "Golden 72 Hours" of FT Forging

  • Secondary Heating: Addresses molecular structure deformation caused by forging pressure and rapid cooling.
  • Straw Cooling: Each heated clubhead is individually placed in a container filled with "natural straw ash," a traditional technique passed down through generations of Japanese blacksmiths.
  • Creating Perfection: After 3 days of cooling and restructuring, the metal structure of the clubhead is uniform and consistent, creating an unparalleled, premium feel.

Fujimoto Feel

Each clubhead in the FT series is reheated after forging and left to rest for 72 hours in temperature-controlled straw ash.

鍛造初始狀態

Stage 1|Initial Forging

High-pressure stress and rapid cooling during the forging process can cause distortion and deformation of the metal's internal microstructure (grains).

72小時稻草灰熱處理

Stage 2|Reheating Treatment

In our factory, heated clubheads are placed in containers filled with natural straw ash for 72 hours. This is a traditional technique passed down through generations of Japanese blacksmiths.

結構重組完成

Stage 3|Structural Recomposition

After a cooling process lasting three days, the internal metal structure of the clubhead is uniformly rearranged, thus creating a unique hitting feel.

Fujimoto Gikoh

The history of Fujimoto Gikoh can be traced back to the 1960s. At that time, founder Sanenobu Fujimoto noticed that blacksmiths in Ichikawa Town were returning to the production of forged iron clubheads, a craft that had been prohibited during the war and only revived afterwards.

1960s
Founder Sanenobu Fujimoto, in his small workshop, began repairing and replicating Western iron clubheads based on his expertise in forging tools, evolving into the "Hizukuri" technique.
Late 1960s
Officially established "Fujimoto Golf Equipment Factory," undertaking OEM production for major brands, laying the foundation for today's business.
1980s
Sanenobu's three sons successively joined, injecting new momentum into the family business and entering a phase of expansion.
1990s to Present
In 2015, CNC technology and its own brand were introduced. In 2017, Fujimoto Golf was founded, dedicated to restoring the annealing process and the pure feel.
