The Fujimoto Feel
A beautiful clubhead that you'll never go back from once you've tried it, with a unique soft and smooth feel
SINCE 1960 Japanese Forging Brand | 100% Handcrafted in Japan
Exclusive "Hizukuri" Forging Process Technology
"Hizukuri" is Fujimoto's 72-hour extremely slow annealing technology developed to achieve the optimal feel. Conventional soft iron forging often leads to deformation of the metal structure during cooling, which affects the feel of the shot.
Fujimoto specifically reheats the forged clubhead to 800-1200 degrees to effectively release internal metal stress. Through a special cooling process lasting up to 72 hours, the metal structure achieves the most superior arrangement, making the clubhead's feel extremely smooth and dense.
The "Golden 72 Hours" of FT Forging
- Secondary Heating: Resolves stress from forging and molecular structure deformation caused by rapid cooling.
- Straw Cooling: Individual heated clubheads are placed in containers filled with "natural straw ash," a traditional technique passed down through generations of Japanese blacksmiths.
- Creating Perfection: After 3 days of cooling and restructuring, the metal structure of the clubhead becomes uniformly consistent, creating an unparalleled premium feel.

Fujimoto Feel
Each FT series clubhead is reheated after forging and then left to rest for 72 hours in temperature-controlled straw ash.

Stage 1|Initial Forging
High-pressure stress and rapid cooling during the forging process can cause distortion and deformation of the metal's internal microstructure (grains).

Stage 2|Reheating Process
In our factory, heated clubheads are placed in containers filled with natural straw ash for 72 hours. This is a traditional technique passed down for generations among Japanese forging artisans.

Stage 3|Structure Reshaping
After a cooling process lasting up to three days, the internal metal structure of the clubhead is uniformly rearranged, creating a unique hitting feel.
Fujimoto Gikoh
The history of Fujimoto Gikoh dates back to the 1960s, when founder Shinsuke Fujimoto noticed that blacksmiths in Ichikawa Town were returning to forging iron clubheads, a craft that had been prohibited during the war and only revived afterwards.
