The Fujimoto Feel
An exquisite clubhead you'll never go back from, with a unique soft and plush feel.
SINCE 1960 Japanese Forging Brand | 100% Made in Japan Handcrafted
Exclusive "Hizukuri" Forging Technology
"Hizukuri" is Fujimoto's 72-hour extremely slow annealing technology developed to achieve the optimal feel. Standard soft iron forging often leads to metal structure deformation during the cooling process, which affects the ball's feedback.
Fujimoto specially reheats the forged clubhead to 800-1200 degrees Celsius, effectively releasing internal metal stress. Through a special cooling process lasting up to 72 hours, the metal structure achieves the most superior arrangement, making the clubhead's feel supremely plush.
The "Golden 72 Hours" of FT Forging
- Secondary Heating: Addresses stress from forging and molecular structure deformation caused by rapid cooling.
- Straw Cooling: Each heated clubhead is placed individually in a container filled with "natural straw ash," a traditional technique passed down through generations of Japanese blacksmiths.
- Creating Perfection: After 3 days of cooling and restructuring, the metal structure of the clubhead becomes uniformly consistent, creating an unparalleled, luxurious feel.

Fujimoto Feel
Each clubhead in the FT series is reheated after forging and allowed to rest for 72 hours in temperature-controlled straw ash.

Stage 1|Initial Forging
High-pressure stress and rapid cooling during the forging process cause microscopic structural (grain) distortion within the metal.

Stage 2|Reheating Treatment
In our factory, heated clubheads are placed in containers filled with natural straw ash for 72 hours. This is a traditional technique passed down through generations among Japanese forging craftsmen.

Stage 3|Structural Reconfiguration
After a three-day cooling process, the internal metal structure of the clubhead is uniformly rearranged, creating a unique hitting feel.
Fujimoto Gikoh
The history of Fujimoto Gikoh dates back to the 1960s, when founder Shinsuke Fujimoto noticed that blacksmiths in Ichikawa Town were once again making forged iron clubheads, a craft that had been banned during the war and had just started to revive after the war.
